AND IT MIGHT JUST SAVE YOUR LIFE!
INTRODUCTION
Car accidents affect the lives of millions of people in the United States every year. Statistics show that almost everyone will be involved in at least one during their lifetime and the average American will have one every ten years.
✵✵Car accidents are an✵✵
inescapable
part of modern life
And regardless of how careful WE may drive personally, there is no way to avoid the drunk driver, the sleepy driver, the aggressive driver, or the just plain careless driver. The damage caused by their negligence can change our lives forever. It only takes a few seconds!
Often, however, we walk away from the accident scene free of injury...
or so we think!
Far too many people discover weeks, months, or even years after an accident that the damage from their wreck was much more serious than they could have possibly imagined. But their discovery comes too late, the changes are now irreversible!
Suddenly they start complaining of neck pain, back pain or headaches. Their hands begin going numb, or their shoulders start hurting. Most often they have never had any pain in the past. But now, weeks after the fender bender that “didn’t hurt them”.... they are hurting!
And when asked why they didn’t seek medical attention sooner, they almost invariably say “I didn’t think I was hurt that bad.” or “the emergency room doctor said the pain would go away with time.”
If you have recently been involved in an automobile accident, this report will give you a lot of things to think about. It will also teach you things you absolutely need to know about little noticed symptoms that can result in permanent pain and discomfort if not treated properly. Please read it carefully.
Because the choices you make today will have a lasting impact on the rest of your life!!
THE DANGER ZONE
When I was a child, I had the opportunity to go to Altus Air Force Base in Altus, Oklahoma for an air show. As we were leaving the base, I saw a large sign which read, “You are about to enter the most dangerous place in the world... an American highway!” Sadly, that sign was very accurate!!!
Did you know that there are 20-21 million car crashes in the United States each year? To put that another way, there is a car crash somewhere in the US every 1.5 seconds. . . . 57,600 EVERY DAY!!! So you shouldn’t feel alone if you have recently had an accident. You’ve got a lot of company!
With that many accidents involving cars which often travel at speeds in excess of 75 to 80mph, it is not surprising that there are over 40,000 people killed in automobiles each year. The devastating effect of a high speed crash on the human body is easy to imagine!
Yet it might surprise you to learn that deaths have been reported in automobile accidents at speeds as low as 12mph! That’s about how fast you drive through a crowded parking lot!!! And literally tens of thousands of people die each year in crashes at speeds less than 40mph. So you don’t have to be flying down a highway to become a traffic statistic.
Automobile accidents are by far the single greatest cause of accidental death in this country!
In addition to traffic fatalities, police reports show a staggering 4-6 million people injured on our nations streets and highways annually. And since 4-6 million represents only those victims that are aware of their injury at the time the police officer is filling out his report, the actual number is probably much, much higher!
Here again, it doesn’t take significant amount of speed to produce an injury. In fact, hundreds of independent studies conducted over the course of three decades have shown repeatedly that occupants involved in low speed collisions are frequently injured. And the degree of injury bears almost no correlation to the speed of the cars or the amount of property damage the cars sustained. Or to put it simply...
PEOPLE ARE OFTEN HURT IN ACCIDENTS WHERE THE CARS INVOLVED HAVE VERY LITTLE DAMAGE!!!
Any car crash has the potential to cause injury to one or all of its occupants. Even the so called “fender bender” can ultimately lead to a lifetime of pain. This fact seems to hold especially true in accidents where a car is struck from the side or the rear. And a person looking at the slightly dented bumper or door might think that there would be no way a passenger in that car could have been hurt. But nothing could be further from the truth!!
There are many vital nerves, muscles, and blood vessels located in the neck. The trachea (wind pipe) and the esophagus are in the neck. So are the thyroid gland and vocal cords. And most importantly, the bottom of the brain (the brain stem) and the spinal cord travel through the neck.
Yet the bones and ligaments in the neck are smaller than in any other part of the spine. This is necessary to allow the head and neck to move freely in so many directions. This is also due to the fact that the bones of the neck are only required to support the weight of the head (about 8 pounds). So the structures of the neck are superbly designed to support the head throughout life and allow you to turn your head in many different directions.
Until the invention of the gasoline engine, man never traveled over 20 mph even on a galloping horse. And for the entire history of mankind, the neck was never subjected to the tremendous forces created in even a low speed accident. The human spine was not designed to protect you against that kind of trauma.
Spinal injuries are the most common in a low speed collision. Neck and back pain account for
Rear-end collision injuries are the most frequent type of injury.
Rear-end collisions Whiplash is the common term used to describe the movement of the head and neck in what the medical community calls acceleration - deceleration injuries.
Simply put, these injuries result from the instantaneous increase, decrease or change in the speed or direction of a moving vehicle during a car crash. The persons body is strapped to the car and changes its movement in a fraction of a second along with the car. However, their head continues to move in the original speed and direction until it is jerked back by their neck. And it is this violent whipping that produces the injuries known as “Whiplash - Associated Disorders.”
At least 3,000,000 new whiplash injuries occur each year. That is the figure derived from police accident reports nationwide.
But since over 50% of all accidents are not reported to police, that estimate is probably very low. Further, this figure fails to consider that 20 to 30 percent of accident victims do not experience pain until long after the police officer has written his report. The true number of whiplash injuries annually is likely more than twice that high!!
You see, for many crash victims there is initially very little or even no pain associated with their injuries. Oh, they may be “a little sore”, but they don’t think too much about that. They ignore their pain or cover it up with medication, and soon it disappears. They go on with their lives and think that they are fully recovered. But the worst is yet to come!
Many of these people find out much later that the changes caused by their accident, has left serious and often irreversible damage to their spine. And the degeneration that follows can result in a lifetime of pain and suffering.
But since these residual effects of an automobile accident don’t present themselves until months or years later, these injuries are never included in police reports. Therefore you can see that the true impact of car crash injuries is probably much, much higher than any government statistic indicates.
THE HIDDEN EPIDEMIC
An estimated 30-50 million people currently live with the “residual effects” of a whiplash injury.
If one million people in this country began to suffer from muscle and joint pain along with a fever, the 6 o’clock news would have a detailed report about the “FLU EPIDEMIC” and the things you need to do to avoid getting sick and to get better if you are sick.
But year after year, the number of victims suffering from this “HIDDEN EPIDEMIC” keeps growing. Long after the car is repaired and the accident itself is a distant memory, the muscle and joint pain that it caused lingers on. And these people don’t get better with a couple days of bed rest!
With proper treatment early, however, many of the health problems that now plague them could have been avoided. But that treatment was never given due to Poor Priorities, Poor Judgement, or Poor Advise. So the “epidemic” continues to grow.

BUT I’M TOO BUSY TO DO ANYTHING NOW!!
(The Problem of Poor Priorities)
We all seem to fill our days with countless tasks to complete. And no matter how much we run and how hard we work, there never seems to be enough time to get it all done. Most of us can’t imagine trying to fit anything else into our schedules.
So having someone crash into our car is the last thing any of us need to have happen. The sad fact is that often we are more upset about the inconvenience than we are anything else.
And what do you think the majority of people who walk away from an auto accident have most on their mind?
Their Car!
They think that THEY are fine. Oh, they may be “sore and stiff” for a while but then that’s to be expected...right? Or they may even be in pain, but since they have no broken bones and were not put in the hospital, they think they will be OK. They mistakenly believe the absence of life threatening injuries means that they were not seriously hurt.
Their immediate concerns include:
“Who is going to fix my car?”
“What will I drive in the mean time?”
“Will my insurance rates go up?”
“Who is going to pay for it?”
So they quickly get all of the details about repairing their car. They immediately rush it off to the body shop because “they really need their car in proper working condition.” They want to make sure that it is fixed right. And besides, a new car costs a lot of money!
We are all very much creatures of habit. We hate anything that alters our normal routine. And when something occurs which further complicates our lives, we move quickly to try to “get our lives back to normal.”
Following an accident, our lives become anything but routine!
So as soon as the car is repaired, we want to put the wreck behind us and to get back to the routine.
But the last thing on their mind is:
“Am I Really Alright?”
But think about this... you will own many cars in your lifetime. But no matter how much money you have, God only gives you one body!! So doesn’t it make sense to first make sure that YOU are given proper care BEFORE you worry about you car!!!
The changes in the structure and function caused by a whiplash injury often leads to an alteration in the You could very soon find yourself just another victim of poor judgement, poor advice, or poor treatment.
for periods of time ranging from several hours to several weeks. Headaches and arm complaints may not show up for several months! So the true number of people suffering from whiplash associated disorders is
However, the steps that you take TODAY will make a huge difference in the long term affect your accident will have on the rest of your life!
But what are the “residual effects” of whiplash.
Why not?, you ask.
I will discuss that in a moment.
But first, what are the residual effects of a whiplash injury?
Were you also aware that most auto accident injuries are hidden and not detected for months or even years?
Worse than that, most auto accident victims are unaware of the damaging effects of hidden injuries. So, thinking they will be OK, they release the insurance company from liability by settling their case before they have been adequately checked.
That’s a gigantic mistake!
Worse still, a lot of auto accident victims receive inappropriate care from either the hospital, medical doctor or physical therapy clinic. Then, while the underlying damage and pain is hidden or “covered up” with medication, the insurance adjuster comes knocking at their door.
Have you been pressured to settle your case yet? Has the nice, concerned insurance adjuster called to see if you were injured? Did he offer to pay you five or six hundred dollars for your “inconvenience”? “Just sign right here,” he says, “and I can get you a check.”
Have you ever wondered why he is so eager to give you money if you were not injured? Could it be he knows something he doesn’t want you to know?
Could it be he knows about the nature of hidden injuries?
Don’t ever sign anything saying you were not injured until you have been check by a doctor who has been trained in the detection of hidden injuries!!!
Because if you do, you may experience pain, numbness, headaches, muscle stiffness, fatigue, and other problems including arthritis many months down the road. These problems will plague you the rest of your life. But the insurance company that should pay for the treatment of your condition will refuse to pay. Your case has already been settled! Don’t let this happen to you!!!
You may have already noticed that ever since the accident, you have not been feeling like your normal self. You may be experiencing obvious pains and symptoms like muscle stiffness or spasm, neck pain, headaches, numbness and tingling, back pain, difficulty sleeping, irritability, memory loss, fatigue, difficulty concentrating and many other difficulties.
Worse Than That, You May Be Injured And Feel Nothing At All!!
Either way, did you know that auto accidents can and frequently do cause post traumatic osteoarthritis? Osteoarthritis can ruin your posture (giving you a slumped or hump back appearance). Osteoarthritis can cause the discs in your spine to degenerate and create scar tissue formation leading to chronic stiffness and the inability to move properly. When this happens, simple tasks like turning your neck become painful and almost impossible.
It’s a fact that you should always be examined by a Doctor after ANY automobile accidents no matter how insignificant the trauma may seem!!
Most Doctors Are Not Trained In The Detection Of These Hidden Injuries... And That’s A Fact, also!
An individual who has been in an accident should first make sure that there is no life-threatening emergency... broken bones, bleeding or hemorrhage, internal organ damage, serious contusions or abrasions, shock and other damage. Emergency treatment of potentially deadly injuries is the job of medical personal in a fully equipped hospital.
But emergency room personnel have very little training in the careful assessment of soft tissue trauma that result from whiplash injuries.
Once the patient is determined not to have any “severe” injuries (i.e. hemorrhage, broken bones, or ruptured organs) they are released with a prescription for muscle relaxers and instructed to see a doctor if symptoms persist.
This is where the problem often begins. For the patient having been told that his condition was not “severe” and to see a doctor “if symptoms persist”, believes that the injury will heal fully and that it will have no lasting effect. And whatever pain that is present will go away with time. Nothing could be further from the truth!
But the patient thinking that everything will eventually get better, fails to receive proper treatment during the crucial early healing stage of the injury. And that delay will often lead to years of chronic pain in the future!
Much of that could have been prevented with proper care!
Whiplash symptoms can be deceiving!!
As I said before, many people who suffer from the effects of whiplash are unaware of their injury at the time of the accident. Everyone recognizes the symptoms of a severe whiplash. That’s the type of injury that happens in an automobile accident when the head is snapped in a backward and then forward motion. Few people, however, realize that even a slight jolt to the neck can result in problems later on.
Your neck was not designed to resist the forces of an automobile accident!
It is important to note that almost every person involved in a moving vehicle accident suffers a whiplash injury to some degree.
Recent studies have shown that the neck can withstand a forward snapping motion 50 times the force of gravity before producing injury. However, in the case of a backward rebounding motion, only 5 times the force of gravity can be tolerated. An automobile traveling only 25 miles an hour creates 3,400 pounds of force. The impact of a crash at this speed will place several tons of force on the victim’s neck.
Yet, it is quite common for there to be no discomfort immediately after an accident. When the vertebrae are misaligned after a jolt, it may take some time before the irritation of the nerves caused by the misalignment becomes severe enough to produce the symptoms associated with a whiplash injury. These symptoms include headaches, blurred vision, stiffness or pain in the area of the neck, or tingling in the arms and shoulders.
PAIN FROM AUTO ACCIDENT INJURIES CAN LINGER FOR YEARS
Injuries that result from a motor vehicle accident are much too often over looked. Frequently, the pain or other symptoms of the injury are not apparent at the time of the accident. In fact, some injuries are hidden so well they may be missed by emergency room technicians and can take weeks, months, and even years before actual symptoms show.
The amount of damage to the car does not depict the amount of injury sustained by the victim!
Studies indicate that injuries can occur at impact speeds of less than 5mph where there is little of even no damage to the car. Today’s cars absorb much of the impact in the bumper, but transmit this energy from impact to the person’s head and neck in much the same fashion as when one pool ball hits another.
The most common symptoms of a whiplash injury are pain or stiffness in the neck and shoulder, recurring headaches, numbness in the arms and fingers, irritability, back pain, and dizziness. Few people realize that an untreated neck or back injury from a car accident is likely to develop into ARTHRITIS in later years adding more pain and debilitation to the situation.
Your soft tissue injury should be treated just as aggressively as a broken bone... perhaps more so.
BECAUSE YOUR CHANCES OF LONG TERM DISABILITY ARE FAR GREATER WITH A SOFT TISSUE INJURY THAN WITH A BROKEN BONE!How are these hidden injuries detected?
How can you know if you have hidden injuries? The answer is you can’t . . . without being checked by a doctor specifically trained to find them.
As I said before, many of the symptoms that you may have noticed already indicate an injury is present. And although these symptoms may in time temporarily go away, they are destined to return in the form of chronic pain, headaches, numbness in your arms and hands or numerous other complaints somewhere in the future.
But often whiplash injuries produce no obvious outward symptoms. So in many instances, there is no way for an individual to know that an injury is present without being checked. You may feel little or no discomfort right now, and still have received the type of injury that will some day cause you a great amount of misery.
However, the emergency room staff and your family doctor are likely poorly trained in the careful analysis of the subtle signs that indicate hidden injuries. And most often nothing is done to address them. Or worse yet, they are covered up with prescription medication which does nothing to assure proper healing but does mask any symptoms that might otherwise be present.
If you have been in an auto accident, you need a doctor that is specifically trained in the biomechanics of the human body. That means that he or she can perform special orthopedic and neurological tests as well as other functional tests that can assess soft tissue damage, muscle strength, range of motion, and joint and nerve function.
You need a doctor who will take the correct functional x-rays to find out if there has been any structural damage. These x-rays are different from the ones that may have been taken at the emergency room to screen for broken bones. And most of all
YOU NEED A DOCTOR WHO WILL TAKE THE TIME TO CAREFULLY CHECK YOUR SPINE FOR HIDDEN INJURIES!
SO WHAT SHOULD YOU DO??
If you have been in a recent accident, it should be obvious that you need to do something. The long term effects of your injuries are very serious. Some of the injuries may be causing symptoms now, that you are covering up with medication or just ignoring. Other injuries may be hidden and destined to rear their ugly heads week, months or years from now. But regardless, something must be done NOW to prevent a future full of pain.
But just going to ANY doctor is not the answer. You must find a doctor who has the knowledge and expertise needed to correctly evaluate your condition. You need to be examined by a doctor who will take the potential long term effects of your injuries seriously! You need treatment from a doctor who has the training required to help insure the proper healing of injured tissues and restore the correct function to damaged joints.
You see just going to the doctor will not help if that doctor does not provide the proper type of treatment!!! My name is Dr. John T. Godfrey. I specialize in the treatment of auto accident victims, and have done so for over 20 years. I have received extensive training in the careful evaluation and treatment of the type of injuries that occur during an automobile accident.
I have received certification from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Medical/Legal Consultants Association. I have been name to the Outstanding Young Men of America and the Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals.
My office is located at the intersection of Kelly Avenue and Edmond Road (2nd Street) in Edmond.
I have successfully treated literally hundreds and hundreds of auto accident victims just like yourself. I pay special attention to the subtle signs that indicate hidden injuries.
I have the friendliest staff you will EVER meet and we are all trained in handling the sometimes confusing paperwork that needs to be filled out to make sure that your rights are protected and your injuries are properly documented.
If you have been in an auto accident recently, there are some important decisions you have to make and if I were you, I’d take these decisions very seriously. Because . . .
THE CHOICES YOU MAKE TODAY WILL EFFECT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!
MY THREE PERSONAL GUARANTEES TO YOU
I cannot possibly overemphasize the importance of proper care for your injuries following an automobile accident. Without adequate treatment, the injury that may seem minor today will most likely lead to a future of needless pain. And worse still, your injuries may cause an early onset of ARTHRITIS!
It is also important to realize that people often receive inappropriate treatment from doctors that have not been thoroughly trained to assess the subtle changes present after a soft tissue injury. And as a result, no treatment is given or worse still, the wrong treatment is given!
Now I certainly would never claim to be the only doctor in the Oklahoma City/Edmond area that has the expertise to give you the right kind of care. Even though many doctors do not assign proper urgency to the treatment of whiplash injuries, many others can and will treat your condition just as myself. They understand that many future problems can be avoided if the injury is corrected today.
But I do offer something that I think is unique in the correction and care of whiplash injuries. I offer you three iron-clad guarantees. These guarantees are designed to help you know what you can expect when you come to my office. They are also designed to help you feel confident that you are receiving the best care possible for your condition.
GUARANTEE #1: I will give you up to one week to try care at my office to determine if that is the type of treatment you desire. If after one week you decide to seek other care, your bill at my office will be written off TOTALLY.
I am so very confident that you will LOVE the care that you receive at my office that I can make you this unusual guarantee!
Chiropractic care has been proven to be the first treatment of choice for all soft tissue injuries. The United States government has even recommended chiropractic care for soft tissue injuries before drugs and surgery! Prior to that the British and Canadian governments had endorsed chiropractic care as the preferred treatment for soft tissue injuries!!
However, some people are still wary of seeing a chiropractor. They remember what they heard three decades ago when the American Medical Association tried to eliminate chiropractic as a competing profession. The negative propaganda spread at that time still effects public opinion even in 1998!
Therefore, some people are reluctant to seek care from a chiropractor. These patients present themselves for treatment only to decide later that chiropractic care is not for them. They prefer the more traditional medical approach (drugs and surgery) which they are use to.
No matter what the reason, if within one week you decide you would rather seek care somewhere else you can leave my office owing nothing.
Obviously, no one can guarantee a positive outcome to any course of treatment. That is impossible and unethical. But with my guarantee, you will never feel trapped receiving care you don’t want.
GUARANTEE #2: Your appointments will always run on time. In fact, if you ever wait more than ten minutes to begin any treatment at my office, that treatment will be free!
Your time is very valuable! In fact in today’s society, time is with out a doubt one of the most precious things that we have. We all constantly rush back and forth with work, kids and countless errands until our schedules are completely full. How can we possibly squeeze anything else in??
Yet following an automobile accident, it is very important to get proper treatment to prevent future pain and disability.
So to better enable you to get the care that you so desperately need, we take special care to make sure that you never spend long periods of time waiting for your appointment.
But this promise is of no real value to you unless there is some way assure the promise is kept!
We are not superhuman. And even though we strive to assure you never wait, there is always a possibility that circumstances beyond our control may cause us to run behind. So to back up our promise, if you ever wait more than ten minutes to begin your treatment, then that treatment will cost you nothing!!
GUARANTEE #3: You will be shown the concern and respect that you deserve. And even though we treat many accident victims daily, you will think you are our only patient. We want you to feel like family!
No we won’t be showing up on your doorstep for dinner! And you don’t have to add us to your Christmas list or your Will!
But if you have ever been treated in a doctor’s office where you felt like nothing more that a number, then you know what I am talking about.
There are doctors in this area that literally see 150 to 200 people each day. That divides into about 3 minutes with each patient. There is no way that an individual can be anything more than a number at a clinic like that.
I run a very busy office.
But when you walk into my office you will know that there is something special about the place you have chosen. We want you to feel like we genuinely care about how you are recovering. We really get to know you. And we promise to treat you with the same concern and interest in your well being as we would if you were our brother, sister, mother or father! You will never be just a number to us!!
7 IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
1. Should I See An Attorney Before I See Dr. Godfrey?
It is important to get checked out by Dr. Godfrey first, that way the findings from your exam will allow you the information you need in order to decide if an attorney is necessary. If necessary, we can refer you to a reputable and qualified attorney.
2. What If My Car Sustained Only Minor Damage?
Documented studies done by Charles Carroll, M.D., Paul McAtee, M.D. and Lee Riley, M.D. revealed that:
“The amount of damage to the automobile bears little relation to the force applied to the cervical spine (neck) of the occupants.”
In other words, the damage to the passengers is not necessarily directly related to the damage to the vehicle.
3. If I Need Treatment For This Injury, Do I Have To Pay For It Myself?
If you were not at fault the answer is No! Only in very rare circumstances does the patient pay for their care. Your treatment will be paid by the insurance company of the person that hit you. And if that person had no insurance, then your uninsured motorist insurance will cover your care.
In addition, most car insurance policies have what is called “Med Pay.” This means that your medical bills will be paid at 100% up to a certain limit. My office manager can assist you in obtaining this information. Using your own uninsured motorist or Med Pay insurance will not raise your rates.
In some cases, if there is no insurance to bill we will accept an attorney lien. If you don’t understand what this means, please feel free to call us and we will be happy to explain it to you.
4. The Insurance Company Has Been Calling Me Wanting To Settle, What Should I Do?
Please, for your own good, do not sign or settle until you have had us evaluate your injury for you. If you settle before your injury is fully resolved, you are completely on your own. If, after you have been examined, the insurance carrier has questions about your injury, I will reveal to them the results of the examination and furnish them any necessary reports.
5. I’ve been to the hospital and my medical doctor, do I really need to see Dr. Godfrey?
You need a doctor that specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of auto accident injuries. Usually hospitals will check vital signs, and release the patient with pain relief medication. They are not trained to detect underlying improper musculoskeletal biomechanics that can and often do lead to future pain.
If your M.D. has given you pills, you must understand that pills cannot and do not correct structural of soft tissue damage. There are special therapies designed for that, and we offer these modalities at our Edmond office.
6. Does your care hurt?
Absolutely not. The care is very gentle and quite soothing. Most patients can hardly wait to get their care.
7. Is the care Safe?
Yes, extremely. Particularly when compared to the side effects from all medications.
For example, a study published in the journal PAIN reported that “on average 1 in 1,200 patients taking Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) for at least two months will die from gastroduodenal complications who would not have died had they not taken them.”
Gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation are not the only potential hazard of NSAID use. The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research guidelines warn that “high doses of acetaminophen (a NSAID) can lead to liver damage, and massive single doses sometimes lead to fatal hepatic necrosis.” Eight to 10 percent of the 50,000 annual kidney failures in the United States are caused by acetaminophen.
In fact, a report from Harvard Medical School estimates that as many as 100,000 people each year die as a result of medical malpractice. And that does not include the number of people that die from the side effects of correctly prescribed medications!
It’s time for you to take control of your health. Dr. Godfrey is trained in locating and treating structural damage of the musculoskeletal system that is often the result of an overlooked motor vehicle accident injury. Dr. Godfrey has treated thousands of area residents with underlying nerve and structural problems and may also be able to help you. If you or someone you love has been involved in a motor vehicle accident, or are experiencing any of the symptoms described in this report call Godfrey Accident & Injury Center at 341-0101 and start to live without pain today!! Our Patients Speak...
“I had lived in pain for many years. I’d been examined by more doctors than I care to remember. But I had never tried Chiropractic Care. And since I’ve had it personally, all I can say is . . . what took me so long to have this treatment!
From the very beginning I could tell that Dr. Godfrey’s approach to my condition was different than the doctors I had seen. I would tell the other doctors that I was in pain and they would start writing out a prescription. Dr. Godfrey seemed more interested in finding and correcting the cause of my condition, not just covering the symptom with medication.
And now that I have found why I was hurting, it has been easy for me to stay pain free!” Michelle Williams
“Dr. Godfrey is very friendly and gentle. I can tell that he really cares about how I feel and does everything he can to help me get better. He’s like part of my family.” Patricia Green
“After my accident, I thought my injuries were not that bad. But before too long, I began to notice stiffness in my neck and my headaches began to occur more frequently.
A friend of mine suggested that I see Dr. Godfrey. She said that if I ignored my symptoms, I might really regret it some day. She explained that if my injuries were left untreated, I could develop arthritis in the future.
Now, after getting the treatment that I needed, my neck feels normal again! The headaches are gone! I can’t tell you how glad I am that my friend cared enough to send me to Dr. Godfrey!” Betty Nickels
“Dr. Godfrey is very competent and is thoroughly knowledgeable regarding his profession. He found the source of my problems; explained it to me in terms that were easily understood; and then developed a plan to help me regain my health.
And once my condition was corrected, he showed me the things that I needed to do to prevent future problems.” Jim Cardwell
“Dr. Godfrey always hears me... he always has time to listen. I can remember telling things to doctors and knowing that they didn’t hear a word that I had said. But when Dr. Godfrey is in the room with me I know that I have his full attention.” Sydney Lemmon
“I always enjoy my visits at Dr. Godfrey’s office because the atmosphere is so friendly. The service and people are excellent... they make the patient feel really comfortable. I love my treatments there!” Darold Brown
“Dr. Godfrey is the BEST!” Laura Murphy
